new job!

i am so blessed! i couldn't be more thankful to God right now, honestly. after applying so many places & always hearing the same story - "we aren't hiring right now, but will keep your app on file"...i finally got a job!! about a month or so ago, i applied/interviewed for a position at a daycare center. they couldn't hire me at the time due to low enrollment, but i kept in touch with the center director and thank God i did, because last week she e-mailed me to see if i still might be interested in a position. at first, she told me it would only be PT for now (1-6 monday thru friday) and i was fine with that..but then after doing my paperwork and all that jazz, she asked if i wanted a FT position!!! of course, i said YES! sooo, i start tomorrow working from 9-6 monday through friday!

jeff tells me all the time he doesn't want me to work and that i need to concentrate on school - but this is somethin that i want. i know we will be a lot less stressed out with two incomes coming in & that we will have spending money again (which is something we both miss..lots). it'll be nice to get all of our bills caught up and then not have to stress out about when the due dates come! it won't jeopardize our time together because he will already be working from 7am til about 6ish (or later). if anything, it may make our time that we do have together more enjoyable and cherished (less stress means amazing moods for the both of us).

i am so glad i trust in the Lord and handed all of our struggles over to him. he never fails me, even though at times i feel like giving up. i've come to realize how important having patience truly is & i will cherish it from here on out! things just couldn't get any better right now - we have both been blessed with good jobs and now we can really start looking to our future (aka planning this wedding of ours!!).

i just wanted to take a few minutes to update...i haven't had much to talk about due to the fact that things have been so boring around here lately (minus last weekend when my bestie finally flew in for the weekend...yay!!) but i couldn't wait to share my GREAT news with y'all (whoever still reads this thing of mine anymore anyway, lol).
